February is American Heart Month
This celebration reminds us of the importance of taking care of our cardiovascular health. The chance of developing heart disease can be reduced by taking steps to control the factors we can do something about. It’s also important to be aware of the signs and symptoms of heart attack:
-
Chest discomfort, which may feel like uncomfortable pressure, squeezing, fullness or pain.
-
Discomfort in other areas of the upper body, such as the arms, back, neck, stomach or jaw.
-
Shortness of breath, even in the absence of chest discomfort.
Calling for help right away is very important for the best outcome and recovery.

“This is a beautiful place. The scenery is gorgeous. The staff is very sociable and helpful. They care about the residents. I would not want to go anywhere else.”
